Davina McCall is to host a new dance-based reality competition for Sky1, it has been announced.

Just Dance, airing on Sky1 from January, aims to find the best dancer in Britain. The nine-part series will follow an X Factor-style format of auditions and public voting before an eventual winner is crowned.

The news comes on the day that McCall's long-running Channel 4 series Big Brother was confirmed to be ending in 2010.
