PETITE Big Brother star NIKKI GRAHAME may look like an angel, but her lifelong battle with anorexia made her feel "possessed by the Devil".
The pretty 27-year-old, who spent her adolescence in and out of hospitals, said the illness she tried to control ended up controlling her.
Nikki said: "I had chosen a career and that was to starve myself to death. The thinner I got the more victorious I felt.
"Being light on the scales felt so damn good. I was like a baby skeleton but I didn't care. My illness came first."
At just eight-years-old Nikki embarked on a life-threatening journey that would savage her body for the next two decades.
Her parents divorce and a malicious fat jibe by a fellow gymnast set her on the downward spiral.
She said: "I would have done anything for mum and dad to notice me. I started throwing away my packed lunches and stopped eating chocolate.
"I used to climb out of bed in the middle of the night to exercise."
Nikki added: "KAREN CARPENTER was my idol. I wanted to be like her and became obsessed."
Karen Carpenter died in 1983 before Nikki was 1 years of age because of Anerexia......Suerly if she was Nikkis Idol she should have not wanted to end up like Her ?
That sounds strange wanting to be like someone who died of not eating and she did the same as her.Luckily though Lived to tell the tale.
